With foreign travel still quite difficult and city centres empty on account of the lingering covid effect we decided to have another city break, this time in London.

We particularly wanted to visit the Nero Exhibition in the British Museum and John was keen to visit the Abbey Road Studios which are open to the public as a special 90th birthday celebration (the studio's 90th, not John's)

On our previous two visits to London in 2016 and 2020 we booked via Lastminute.com and on both occasions the "Secret Deal" we picked turned out to be the same perfectly good hotel in Holborn.  In 2016 it was called the Holborn Grange and in 2020 Jury's.

We booked another "Secret Hotel" and guess what, same hotel but it is now called NYZ.

There is nothing wrong with it (it was fine before so why the rebranding), it is a good location with nice staff and good sized rooms (for London) so no complaints (yet).
