Greetings from Leicester.

The only time we have been before was when we cruised down the River Soar in a canal boat in 2021, it was during covid when everywhere was closed so we did not get to visit any of Leicester's attractions.

We are here to rendezvous with Gemma and three grandchildren who are over from the USA visiting her family who live north of Leicester. Sian has also come over with another three grandchildren so we are in for some mayhem tomorrow when we visit the “Puffa Jacket”, a fancy building which houses the National Space Centre.

The grandchildren are only here for the day so we can spend the weekend recovering whilst visiting the other sights in the city.
