We had never been to any of the Canary Islands before so we thought we ought to go and have a look.
We spent just over a week in Tenerife and then 10 days in Grand Canaria. It was quite enjoyable but not somewhere we would rush back too, whilst the scenery is spectacular and of course the weather a great change from a UK winter the islands were too crowded and nearly all the coastal areas completely ruined by over development.
