Science Day

We spent most of the day in the local science museum. It is aimed at children so suited us to a tee. There are lots of hands on exhibits which explain scientific phenomena such as wave action, air pressure, Brownian motion and how we see things.

Most of the exhibits had descriptions in English, one or two didn't, perhaps these are Spanish state secrets. We started with a 3D film about chipmunks and scorpion mice which was very scary, I was frightened. The only children in the museum were taken out in tears which left all the buttons to press and handles to pull to us. A great result. It would be a place to avoid in the school holidays but otherwise If you find yourself in Gran Canaria I would highly recommend it.

Tomorrow we move into the hills and are staying in a cave for two nights. It does not have Internet access so is clearly a primitive cave so we may be slow at updating this blog.
