HTML Code CreatorDue to some health issues we have only had short holidays for the past six months including trips to Whitby, Loch Lomond, Oxford, Woodbridge, Portmeirion, Somerset, Aberaeron, St Davids and Ashbourne. As these were only five day breaks we did not do blogs for them but we have decided to have a 10 day holiday in Richmond Yorkshire over Christmas so worthy of it's own blog.
The past three Christmas's have been spent somewhere warm and sunny, perhaps Yorkshire will surprise us and the sun will shine but we are packing boots and thick jumpers just in case
We are staying in a house called The Old Mission Hall, what the missionaries would think about their hall being a swanky holiday home housing a couple of atheists at Christmas I don't know.
It is close to the centre of town so a short walk to pubs and restaurants.
We arrived this evening and have been pleasantly surprised, we have the top floor of the building in the picture and it is very well appointed. Tomorrow we will explore the town and then on Tuesday we are off to the races. Getting betting money for the races has proved rather more difficult than I imagined. I loaded a William Hill app on a phone and then tried to deposit some money, Barclays decided investing money on horses was clearly a fraudulent activity, several text chats and a long phone call later we finally succeeded, all we need to do now is pick the winners, any tips?
