So what did we think of Glasgow - It's great!

There was lots to do despite the main museum, the Burrell Collection, being closed we had plenty to do all week.  The biggest plus was the people / culture.  The Council have a slogan of "People Make Glasgow" and this seems to be reflected in all they do.  The locals are much more helpful and pleasant than those in most other parts of Scotland and they don't take themselves too seriously.  Wellingtons stature has a couple of traffic cones on his head, the council leave them there although apparently if the stack gets too high they take some off, it makes everyone smile when they see it.
